Image Consultant Training Curriculum and Acceptance
Eight-Day Course Curriculum
The Stoltz Image Institute’s personal image consulting program is ideal for individuals who are planning on starting an image consulting business that focuses on working one-on-one with female clients with the purpose of enhancing their clients’ visual appearance. The training program is also an asset to image consultants who have already begun their personal image consulting business and are seeking training courses that will expand their services, image knowledge, and skills. Students earn CEU (Continuing Education Units) credits for certification from AICI (The Association of Image Consultants International) by completing individual sections of the Stoltz Image Institute’s image training course.
Training Topics:
- An introduction on first impression and techniques for working with clients
- In-depth custom color analysis training for both beginners and advanced consultants
- Evaluation of female and male body shapes, clothing styles, and accessories
- Wardrobe organization, clothing evaluation and elimination, and outfit and cluster creations
- Personal clothing and accessory shopping
- Setting up an image consulting business
- Marketing your business
- Development of an action plan to jump start your business
The training course provides hands-on consulting with real clients. After the extensive training course, students leave the Stoltz Image Institute with an action plan that prepares them to start their own personal image consulting business.
The curriculum is divided up into three sections which may be taken together or during separate training dates. Priority will be given to students taking the entire 8–day course. If the training dates listed do not correspond with your schedule, contact Stoltz Image Consulting ASAP for alternatives. A class will be added if at least four students are committed to the date.
If a minimum of four students are interested in scheduling a training course but are unable to travel to the Stoltz Image Institute, Elaine Stoltz will travel to a more convenient destination to teach the 8 day course. Please contact Stoltz Image Consulting for more information.

Acceptance into the Stoltz Image Institute
Before attending the Stoltz Image Institute, potential students must first be accepted into the program by Elaine Stoltz. Elaine conducts a one-on-one interview with each potential student, whether in person or over the phone, in order to learn more about her students’ career aspirations and to ensure that they will achieve success at the Stoltz Image Institute. Based on Elaine’s pre-interview, graduates of the Stoltz Image Institute are likely to accomplish much success in their own image consulting business because they meet Elaine Stoltz’s suggested image consulting prerequisites and have or are capable of developing the skills necessary to succeed in the field of image consulting.
